IPSWICH – FRIDAY, JUNE 23

By Brock Anderson @brockyando87

Rail Position: True Entire Course

Track Conditions: Soft 5

Track Comments: Very tight circuit, horses up on the speed are generally advantaged.

Race 3, No. 11 Enterprise Miss

This daughter of Choisir caught the eye at her second career start with a solid 2nd placing behind a smart one that has run well again since, she should settle handy to the pace from the good barrier draw and should put them to the sword late for a well deserved win. Get on!

Race 5, No. 1 Muddy Rope
This 3yo Hinchinbrook gelding is from the very strong Chris Anderson stable and this boy has his fair share of ability. He won his first two races over the 1000m scamper in his first preparation before failing over 1200m when he may have come to the end of its campaign, he has had 2 solid but quiet trials so he should be ready to go in this event today, I expect him to settle one out one back, pull out at the XXXX sign and storm over the top of them late. Get on early as the $5.00 currently available wont be around for long as this stable does like to have a bet.

Race 7, No. 11 Guadalupe

In what is a very tough day with big fields and different form lines to work off I have found this mare at a price in the get out stakes, she has been hitting the line well this prep without winning but should be peaking fourth up today, she has won at the track and distance n the past and at the $10 currently available she is great each way value and should go very close in this mediocre contest.

Jeff Lloyd has been in dominating form again this season and not many ride this track better then this man, he has ridden 28 winners from his past 135 rides, giving him an impressive strike rate of over 20%. He has some great chances today and it will pay to follow him on this tough card of Friday racing.

Race 2 No. 16 Rancho Montoya

Is a very well bred colt from the very astute Stuart Kendrick yard which trialled the house down in slick time recently, the form from that trial is stacking up nicely and this boy has been smacked in early markets from $2.40 into $2.00 and if he brings his trial form to the races he should be winning this event today.

Leg 1 (Race 5): 1,2,6,8
Leg 2 (Race 6): 1,4,10
Leg 3 (Race 7): 3,6,12
Leg 4 (Race 8): 6,11

A $36.00 outlay will get you 50% of the dividend
