Rail Position: Out 9m

Track Conditions: Good 4

Track Comments: There has been plenty of racing here of late, so pay to watch for any favourable patches coming up the straight.

Race 8, No. 3 Star Value
Big fan of this young stayer who has been extremely honest in every run this prep. With a touch of luck from the gate I think he will be extremely hard to beat.

Race 2, No. 1 Cognac
Obviously the favourite in this race Illustrious Tycoon looks extremely hard to beat, but this bloke looks a huge price, considering the quality of races he’s been competing in. Drawn nicely and gets in extremely well at the weights with the 3kg claim for Kate Fitzgerald. A little each way and something on quin/exacta with the fav.

The Paul Jordan stable have had a great week with 3 winners from their 7 runners. He has 3 good chances today, including our best value bet Cognac in race 3.

Race 5, No. 2 Touch Of Silver
Durrant trained galloper who has built an extremely good record having saluted on 6 of his 11 starts. He opened at $3.30, into $2.90.

Race 5 (Leg 1): 2,3,4,6,7,8
Race 6 (Leg 2): 2,3,5,7
Race 7 (Leg 3): 1,2,6,9

Race 8 (Leg 4): 3,4,7

$72 gets you 25%

Race 1: 7,3,6,2 (Competitive first race, first starter from the Casey yard is the big watch)
Race 2: 2,1,3,7 (Could be really good this bloke, Cognac the value)
Race 3: 1,5,2,4 (Durendal should win)
Race 4: 9,1,5,7
Race 5: 4,2,6,7 (See Me Sizzle can turn the tables on the Fav)
Race 6: 5,2,3,7 (Like this lightly race 5yo gelding)
Race 7: 6,2,1,9 (State Solicitor looks value considering he was so short in the G1)
Race 8: 3,7,4,1 (Best Bet)
